The city of San Juan is known for its excellent transportation services. It boasts of some large transit agencies like the Capital Metro, El Metro, Citibus and VIA. There are transit and charter services that provide guided tours to the Islands as well. The travelers can also move around the city with the help of rental car services, taxis, mopeds and bicycles.

The county roads are the main routes in the city of San Juan with speed limits of around 45 mph. Since bicycle provides an excellent option of moving around the city, separate lanes have been provided for this purpose.

The bicycle riders should ride along the single lane and should keep in mind to move completely off the road when stopped. Before entering the roadway, the riders should be extremely cautious about the other vehicles during busy hours.
