Philadelphia is great to visit any time of the year, although the season you choose will drastically change the colors and the appearance of this fabulous city. Philly boasts 4 different seasons and like other northeastern American cities, it can be uncomfortably hot and humid in the Summer and freezing cold in the winter.

Late May and late September are the best time to visit this dynamic city, thanks to warm days , cool nights and lower prices, due to fewer visitors and conventions; Summer remains the peak tourist season in Philadelphia, but it's very expensive and busy.

Anyway, no matter what time of the year you would travel to Philadelphia, you will always find something to surprise and delight you, so enjoy the spring season when this city is bedecked with blooming cherry trees or the summer period when it's full with many celebrations in the historic area.

In the Autumn, the city offers numerous concerts and the Winter is a fine time to take advantage of the city's excellent shopping.
