Corso Italia is a magnificent cathedral with excellent architecture. This bell tower has classic columns, three-tiered bells and an awe-inspiring crucifixion. It is one of the most frequented sites in the city.
A must visit for all the tourists is the Museo Correale which dates back to the eighteenth century. Apart from a collection of Neapolitan art and other Greek and Roman artefacts, it houses some appealing murals.
The Sorrento Summer of Music Festival takes place every year where renowned international artists perform alongside the new talent. Many genres of music such as classical, chamber and jazz are featured in this festival. Also, the Sorrento International Film Festival honours the best Italian and foreign films.
Other places of interest include the Puntacampanella Natural Reserve, the ruins of Villa Pollio and the Museo Bottega della Tasia Lignea.
