Marilleva has a recreation and sports resort that is located on the banks of the Walnut River down the valley which is also the venue of the world canoeing championships.
There are quick connections to other tourist resorts due to which there are chances for excursions and walks to Madonna di Campiglio, Val di Rabbi, Val di Pejo and the Stelvio National Park. At present a new Sports Center has been constructed that offers sports enthusiasts, guests and associations excellent sports services.
For the summer season there is an ice stadium, a five a side football pitch, handball, three bowls and two outdoor tennis courts. There is a cross country ski instruction center and an open air skating center for the winter season.
The Marilleva 1400 has all the resources that are necessary to create a dynamic tourist resort. In the winter there are 140 kms of ski slopes. There is a surprisingly wide network of ski lifts and connections to the ski regions of Madonna di Campiglio and Folgarida.
During the summer there are wide pine woods encircling the resort which are a perfect spot for those who want a relaxing holiday. At this place one can also find indoor swimming pools, skating facilities, shops, pizzerias, restaurants, bars, discotheques and tennis courts.
