Every year in October, the Festival Kreol takes place to celebrate the local culture. This week-long festival promotes Creole cuisine, fashion, music, art and dance.
The National Fishing Competition is held in April every year. In August and September, the country enjoys yacht races and beach competitions at the Round Table Beau Vallon Regatta.
In November, an underwater festival, SUBIOS, is celebrated in Seychelles. This three-week festival promotes awareness and conservation of the region. It attracts conservationists, filmmakers, photographers and underwater enthusiasts from across the world.
